This is a little premature but I'll throw it out there anyway. The BCS wagon would come full circle if UCLA finishes the season ranked #1 in the BCS. Why? UCLA was the first team to be ranked #1 when the BCS debuted in October 1998. We are in the final year of an 8-year BCS contract. It would be even more fitting considering the Rose Bowl is UCLA's home stadium. A fitting opponent for the Bruins would be the Miami Hurricanes, the team that prevented the Bruins from playing for the national title in 1998. Considering what transpired in Stanford this past Saturday, anything can happen and all bets are off. We can only wish our Bruins the best. GO BRUINS!!!
