There's an Instapundit roundup post, TTLB's Blog for Relief Day page, a Daily Kos diary suggesting numerous charities, here's the latest news on flood aid, and on the hurricane.

We recommend the American Red Cross. That link will direct you to a secure site specifically for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

The American Red Cross has mobilized thousands of volunteers to respond in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The Red Cross plans to send close to 2,000 volunteers in the area to begin the initial response in the next few days.

Please note that there is a space to write in employer. Many employers will match contributions, and this is the best way to make your contribution really count.
