I think you're right that you didn't "deserve it," but that's just kind of how the Internets are.

I happen to agree with some of the commenters who said that perhaps too much emphasis was being placed on offensive schemes. It seems to me that systems come and go. The option begets the spread begets the spread option, which leads to the 46 defense, which begets the press, which begets the zone blitz, and so forth.

Too bad about the namecalling though. But we're not taking it too seriously here. Which is why my post was as it was, as opposed to anything substantive.

The name calling is too bad ...

CFR, HP, and MGoBlog are all bookmarked in my (mozilla!) browswer. They all know and love their college football, and to me its a rereshing break from lot of the dumb inane shit I have been reading in the message board over the years. I think this particular flame war was mainly between Brian and HP. Anyways, hope these kids let this episode pass, get back to football, and get back to all the fun we are having doing blogpolls - enjoying college football with a true national perspective. Okay .. enough kumbaya. Back to blindo ridiculing!
