Pretty Ugly in Pink

So Southern California is getting a new basketball stadium which has its basketball coach - Tim Floyd - a little excited:

"At this point in my career, a driving force for me was coming to a school where I have the chance to win a national championship," he said. "Now that the arena has been built, I can honestly say I think we have that chance at USC."

Yeap this is the same clown who said this in 2005 when he was hired to coach the band of clowns posing as basketball players in South Central:

You mentioned Arizona as the standard for recruiting, how much is UCLA the standard for long-term success in basketball?

I think you look at what's going on right now and the team to beat right now is Arizona. In my opinion, that is the team that everyone should be concerned with over the course of the last ten years. They have been playing at a high national level on a consistent basis, turning out NBA players. They have been doing a lot of their work here in southern California. It makes a lot of sense for a young man who is thinking about the next four years of his life as opposed to leaving our area to build a relationship with the Trojan family, which is so strong. Those are the type of things that we are going to sell and try to do. They will be our staff's measuring stick and I consider Lute (Olson) a guy to look at with great respect. There are a lot of coaches in this league who are terrific basketball coaches, but Lute got that program turned around by being a recruiting coach. I intend to do the same thing here.

Of course Pink's hero Lute lost was humiliated in all of his 3 matchups with Coach Howland this past season, making Pink look dumber than some blowhard standing infront of some "mission accomplished" banner on an air craft carrier.

And although highlight of Pink's 2006 season was a miracle win against UCLA at their little dump in South Central, that was over shadowed by his embarrassing behavior at Wooden's House:

Anyways it's nice to see that Southern California's cute little basketball program finally getting a legit gym. It will make thousands of basketball fans (majority of them cheering for the visiting team wearing those four letters in blue and gold) feel a little cozy during that one sell out 'Southern California basketball program' will experience the whole season.

GO BRUINS.

Pink Floyd
is hilarious.  The more he tries to buy players, the more players will slip through his greasy, bbq-winged covered fingers.

Biko Paris, Southern Cal's vaunted 2-star prospect also withdrew from his commitment to Pink Floyd recently.

Nice picture btw Nestor- Someone get that clown off of John and Nell Wooden Court.  They shouldn't let no class, low-life, jackasses in the facility.

Pauley
The best thing about the new SC stadium is that it's going to get our idiots in the Morgan center serious about Pauley's renovation... I'm not too concerned about losing recruits thanks to our savior - Coach Howland, but a new stadium will only help in recruiting - and then Howland can certainly "coach 'em up". I love that guy and I'm not afraid to admit it....
Go Bruins, Go Howland, F-Lavin, and let's get rid of Dorrell....

Let's not forget
that timmy changed his hero last April from Lute to Billy Donovan.

That miracle win
had the Trojans up by 10 with 1:04 to play.  It is much more accurate to say it was a miracle comeback that fell short, than a miracle win.

That season also contained a 9 game win streak with a new coach.  Thats a pretty solid debut.  Especially for a school without a basketball history.  And for those keeping track:

Current head to head score
Floyd: 1
Howland: 1

Fight on!!! Beat the Sundevils!!!

I predict an NIT bid...
...in SC's future. Anything less and they should fire Floyd.

9 wins and beat 'SC right?

lol
funny.

9 wins and beating Southern Cal will probably get us into a solid bowl game like the Holiday.  At little different than playing in the Not Invited Tournament, which is basically for college basketball equivalent of bunch of losers who are not worthy of bowl bids.  Southern California basketball will always be looked up as those losers.

A new ordinary gym is going to do as much for your basketball program as the new stadidum did for Pittsburgh Pirates.

Have fun with Pink who can't even hold to 2 star commits like Bilko Paris.

That's hilarious
Even when southern cal thinks it has done something right, they manage to mess it up. We inexplicably lost that game...and proceeded to steamroll our way to the title game. Probably the only time I've ever been able to accept a loss to southern cal, just because it worked out so well for us in the long run.

You guys are probably responsible for delivering Kevin Love into our hands too.  Congrats. LOL

Any time Pink's clowns
get a win over UCLA basketball it is a miracle.

SWEET 16, ELITE 8, FINAL 4
HOWLAND: TEAM PARTICIPATED IN MARCH MADNESS
TIMMY: SAT AT HOME

What an asshole
Slime like that should not be able to set foot in Pauley Pavillion. I think the Galen center fits SC perfectly. Now they have an even crappier gym to compliment an even crappier team.
I have a good feeling that Howland is not going to lose to those scumbags this year. I mean, if you lose to SC in basketball you pretty much beat yourself.
