Prediction for Next week

Here is my prediction on how the Notre Dame game will play out:

1st quarter: Notre Dame jumps out to a quick 14-0 lead, outscheming a undisciplined, overmatched defense. Camera pans to Dorrell looking lost. Some dumbass announcer makes a reference to all of UCLA's comebacks of last year: "Don't count out Dorrell's Bruins!" Notre Dame scores again. Pan to Dorrell: still looks lost. Bruins then have a promising drive giving only the most optimistic Bruin fan some hope. This drive, of course, is done in by a false start penalty, a curious run up the middle on 2nd and long, a wasted time out, then a screen for 2 yards on 3rd down, and punctuated with a Medlock field goal. Irish 21, Bruins 3.
2nd quarter: Irish start getting bored. Maybe they're looking at Dorrell. Bruins finally make some stops. "Of course, this defense is better than last years!" some astute announcer comments. Bruins add on another field goal. But Irish, after getting some tongue-lashing by a GOOD coach, end the half strong. Irish 28, Bruins 6.
3rd quarter: It gets ugly. Weiss wants to get Quinn done early. Pours it on. Two more quick scores. A special teams blunder, a couple of missed assignments (of course, I'm talking about UCLA) Another couple shots of Dorrell, looking lost. Irish 42, Bruins 6.
4th Quarter: Against NDs subs, Bruins finally punch one in. T.V., looking to fill airtime during a completely crappy game, adds more insult to Bruin fans by showing footage of Notre Dame upsetting UCLA 30 some years ago. In Basketball. Whoa, an Osaar Raashan sighting! Looks pretty good. Bloggers take note. A backup QB controversy! Final score: Notre Dame 42, Bruins 20.
Whoa, I can't wait.
