The first 5 games are in the books. We have a 4-1 record, and now we enter the toughest stretch of our season with road games at Oregon and Notre Dame, followed by a tough home game against WSU and a road game against Cal (probably the best Pac10 team right now). We will find out a lot about our team in the next month or so. Can we steal a win or two on the road against some very formidable competition? Will BO be ready to go, or will PC step up and be a capable back up and face the pressure? Will we take it to the next level, enter the top 25, and compete for the PAC10 title? Or will we be looking forward to basketball season by November? Everyone has their opinion on Dorrell, and you may be convinced he is not the guy to lead us to the next level, but, if one month from now we are talking about a BCS berth, PAC10 title and NOT talking much about basketball, then maybe, just maybe, Dorrell may be evolving to take this team to meat the expectations that the Bruin faithful have set, and maybe this will be the year we turn the corner, take back supremecy of LA, beat SC, go to a BCS game (wow could it happen?). Maybe it is wishful thinking, but with this defense, enough offense, and a little luck, who knows? Maybe we can be a "Football School" after all?
