Back from Indiana

Well that Purdue game was something... Like I stressed in my last post, what's up with the home court advantage?!  That place was f***ing loud!!

Star-divide

Lindsey Pluimer was in foul trouble for much of the 2nd half (and eventually fouled out) and it made it too easy for the Boilers to just cut right into the middle and score easy layups (well they DID miss a few..)  While on the other end, none of our shots were falling in during the last 2 minutes like the other 95% of the game.  We probably had 3-4 shots from behind the 3 point arc,  and a few shots within the field, and none of them were falling in.  Also it didn't help that the Refs weren't calling any shooting fouls.  We took 6 FTA's, while Purdue had 19 (minus about 4-6 from fouling at the end)  But the disparity was reeeeeally obvious.  But I guess that's basketball for you.

It was a really heartbreaking loss, especially when you had the whole crowd rooting against us.  While on our way out, this was the best quote of the whole trip: "Go back to your beaches!" said one Purdue student (it was snowing in Indiana)... yeah enough said.

I'll post pictures later

Kathy Olivier = Female Lavin
If one of these years Olivier put together a complete regular season like Coach Howland, our girls would be hosting these games. Olivier has been a huge disappointment, consistently underachieving, despite having All Americans on her bench.

Thanks for the post though. GO BRUINS.
