Around SBN: Two Minutes Of Thunder Basketball Wins The Game

Congratulations to UF from the Nation

The better team won tonight. Hands down.

Let's keep this in perspective folks.

The Bruins are going to be just fine.

Thank you to Ryan Hollins, Cedric Bozeman, Mike Fey, and Janou Rubin.

More to come later.

Go Bruins.

They had "difference makers"
Jordan's valiant effort unfortunately came up short.  He needed another "difference maker" to free up the rest of the team.  Maybe that man would have been Shipp today.  I don't know the answer to that, but are you listening Kevin Love?  You listening Kyle Singler?  That difference maker could be YOU.

On Behalf of the Trojan Family
Our thoughts and prayers are with the great Coach Wooden.

Same Here Guys...
You guys were classy in your loss. I would defend you guys any day of the week.

UCLA B-Ball is back! Keep your heads up. You guys continued to perform in the face of all the nay-sayers. Ben Howland is a true gentleman and the class of the league, how could you not root for him.

Good luck next year.

I gotta admit
I turned it off at the buzzer...couldn't stand watching that trannie Noah celebrating.  Gotta love our chances next year with Shipp replacing Bozeman and our plethora of bigs (including Keefe and maybe Spica) replacing Hollins.  Also, mark my words, Aboya will be an absolute beast next year.  Did you see him plastering his nuts on Noahs face today?  My favorite kind of dunk.  Aboya, you are the man.

Yeah
That dunk over Denise Huxtable was sweet.
GO BRUINS. HOOK 'EM HORNS.

Thank you for a great season!!!!
While disappointed with the outcome, I am incredibly proud to be a Bruin tonight.

The better team won the game.

Nothing will take away the memories of Belmont, Alabama, GONZAGA, Memphis, and LSU.   Thank you for a wonderful season that exceeded my wildest expectations and provided me chance to show my five-year old son what it means to be part of the UCLA family.

Thank you to Ryan Hollins, Cedric Bozeman, Mike Fey, and Janou Rubin for your contributions to the basketball program and for handling the ups and downs with class.

Only 192 days until Midnight Madness.....I cant wait!!!!

We are still the Mighty BRUINS!!!!

Congrats
to all the seniors for a great run and hopefully we will be able to see another magical yea,r like this, one next year with Shipp and a returning squad made up of AA1&2, DC, MR, LR, RW, JK, LM, and JF.

Thanks to all the moderators for the website and support you have shown to our team and alma matter. I will see you back when fall practice comes back next year. Best of luck in all your endeavors.

Hold Your Heads High
We have nothing to be ashamed of.  Yes, I would have loved a championship as much as the next member of the Bruin Nation, but if you would have told me in September that we would be in the Final Four, I would have been thrilled.  Look at how much this team overcame this year with injuries.  I know we will be better next year.

Thanks to Coach Howland and the team for the great ride this year and for bringing back the magic that is UCLA basketball.

And thank you to Nestor, Ajax, and the other members of the Bruin Nation.  I feel like I have made several new friends because of this website.  I am and always will be proud to be a Bruin.

Couldn't Agree More
Bruinbabe is right on point . . . great season, with more to come.  Some posts are already picking us in the top 4 for next year's pre-season.  That begs the question:  do we have a 2006-2007 schedule yet?

Got there a year too soon....
Most programs would love to be in the Bruins shoes. These kids got here a year earlier than anyone thought they would, and performed remarkably in getting as far as they did. I am so proud of the UCLA program and sad that we have to say goodbye to good guys like Ced Bozeman and Ryan Hollins. They were so huge in advancing the Bruins this postseason. With one more year of seasoning, this team will be insanely good.
