Match-up problems with the gators

I would have liked to see the frontline of AA2, RH, and Luc (with Mata in relief). AA2 on Halford, Luc on Brewer, and RH on Noah. For the backcourt JF on Green (with DC for relief) and AA on Humphrey (with Ced for relief). Brewer is too long for AA, but AA would have locked down Humphreys. Only RH would need help on Noah and I think all the other defenders would shut down their guys. This would have given use the best size match-up. Just some thoughts. In the end, I couldn't be more proud of our team and can't wait till next year.

Absolutely completely agree 100%
I was absolutely livid the whole night as to why Ben matched up that way. The longer Ced would have been much more effective on Brewer and Afflalo would have never let Humphrey take a shot, much less bury us in the second half with those early threes. I'm assuming the strategy was for Ced's long arms to obstruct Green's entry passes to the low post, but clearly it had no discernable impact.

I still cannot wait for next year, since that has always been the year it's all been supposed to come together. If we can reach the final a year early, I can only imagine what we'll do with a year's worth of maturity, big time tourney experience, and the return of our best natural scorer Josh Shipp.

BH must have had his reasons
I just wish I knew why he didn't try three athletic bigs on the frontline to stop the gators interior offense.

To keep my spirits up
I just keep watching Aboya's dunk as he plants his nuts on JoeKims head. JoeKim may have had a fun night with his blowing kisses and winning the tourney and MOP award, but I haven't seen a guy get posterized like that in a few years - trust me JoeKim knows it too, you know it had to have hurt his pride and tainted his night just a bit (no perfect night for you, sorry - thanks AA2)
