He really is a special player.

I really hope we can keep this guy for at least three years.  It seems like the sky is the limit with him.  I love his heart and he just keeps getting better.  Prince Luc is my favorite player on the team.

It's hard to be the president of Cameroon...

without putting in the 4 full years of college.  That is part of what I love about Luc Richard and Alfred Aboya.  They weren't talking about NBA dreams this year.  They were talking about taking the great education here at UCLA and turning it into political and social success back home.  Basketball is a means to that, and I would be very shocked if either one of them left early without a degree.

Hope you are right ...

I have to say I was little surprised Jordan left this year. Again I wish the kid nothing but luck. But I seriously thought he'd be back for one year. However as you mentioned reading all the comments from LRMAM and AA2, it does seem like education is a huge deal for them and their family. So perhaps that will encourage them to finish out all 4 (or in Luc's case at least 3).

Ultimate Goals?

So far his statements, and his family's, make clear that he has goals beyond just playing basketball -- goals that require a complete education.
