Jordan got a call from Kobe

Not alot new, but still kind of a nice article about Jordan being embraced by the Lakers.  Find it here.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Hey Jordan, congrats on making the team. You won't need to work on your shooting much, because all you'll be doing is passing the ball to me. But practice running around a lot; I need somebody to grab my long rebounds and pass it back to me.

P.S. If you fuck this up, then Smush Parker starts, get it?

Love,
Kobe

The whole idea that Kobe is selfish.......
...is pure nonsense. Kobe will make Jordan better and hopefully vice versa. For the first time in 2 years Kobe and Odom may finally have another playmaker. If anything Kobe was offering to workout with Jordan over the summer.

That whole idea about Kobe being selfish was started by Shaq(The Big Selfish). Shaq was so selfish he let himself get completely out of shape in the prime of his career. He could have been the greatest center ever if only he could have improved his all around game. Shaq's first two seasons in the NBA were his best numbers-wise, he just never got any better. Most people don't notice but Shaq can only dribble with one hand, his right.

As for Jordan, I'd rather he get in with Kobe, a guy who has worked hard to improve every year of his career. Kobe's call hopefully means he wants Jordan to be a starter.

oops
i guess i took some "creative liberties" with gauging that phone call. and since he's an nba player, I guess i should have included him talking in the 3rd person. oh well, i guess i should have known i couldn't get that by former bruin students..

btw, True Blue and Gold, what's a "cath"? :-)
