A couple of weeks ago, Bluestreet posted Mike Walder's article about Cheaty Petey's program. Today, Walder wrote an article with the responses he has received since then. With apologies in advance to Nestor, I'm at work, so I don't have much time to post this in the proper blog fashion.
A couple of my favorite lines:"Over the course of a weekend at say all the universities (with) big-time football programs, how many students are arrested for DUI, sexual assault, fighting, etc., etc.? Much more than the amount of players who have been in trouble in any of those schools' football teams I would bet." To which Walder replies: Studies reportedly show the percentage from the general student body involved in sexual assault is lower. In most cases at most schools, the football staff handles discipline outside of the standard university discipline system. And another one of my favorites: The comment was an indication of how fans are blind to their own problems.

Tabloids, rags or otherwise, have sports sections. Some have good sports sections. Here is the link for you to read for yourselves.
