in college.

Ahh... those were the good old days...

That streak was amazing. I hope it doesn't get matched this year. I can proudly say that during my days as an undergrad, I never lost to Southern Cal.

I believe ...

I can speak for all four (Odyesseus, Ajax, Menalaus and yours truly) when I say none of us experience to losing to Southern Cal as an undegraduate at UCLA.

Those were the days. Lets hope Dorrell brings it back this year and does not allow Southern Cal to match that unforgettable streak.

I've been a season ticket holder for more than 30 years (oh, I can't believe I'm that old), and am a true bruin fan, no matter what. My very favorite pin, from way back when, was just a simple pin that said, "F**K the horse!" And does it bother anyone else that they ALWAYS bring "the horse" to OUR home games??!! Once we actually had the Budweiser horses at our game --- I thought that was pretty cool. I think that was our first home SC game at the Rose Bowl. I know I am dating myself terribly, but I can't express how much I love the fall for all it entails, win, loss or loss. In my lifetime, I would so much like to see a national championship. The last time was the year after I was born -- so PLEASE let's do it soon! I love college football!

It's not the horse's fault

Personally, I love horses, but I know what you are implying. The only game against Southern Cal that I've been to was in 1998, and I don't remember the horse being there. I just remember the cheerleaders trying to get the fans to "fight on" even though the game was clearly decided.
