Saturday Open Thread ...
So lets get this started. Already entertaining games involving Hawkeyes and Cyclones, and Boston College is in another OT game at home against Ben Olson's old school.
Brady Quinn is in his first drive of the day. Auburn-LSU in a huge game. Florida-TN, Bug Eaters/Cheaters later on tonight.
If you are taking in all these big games and lurking here at the same time, this is your open thread.

I will try to come back here later on tonight. In the meantime use this thread to post all your game thoughts, observations, rants, whatever is on your mind this Separation Saturday.
GO BRUINS.

BC pulls it in 2 OT
Oregon looks really good
But Oregon is going to give us problems. Dixon looks like Mike Vick running all through the OU defense, and Jonathan Stewart is a beast.
10-3 Oregon after the 1st
Just saw the stats
Can we stop talking about him as a Heisman candidate yet?
I'm switching between Oregon and this game, but just saw two more incomplete passes and ND go 3 and out.
We can beat these guys.
I was thinking the same thing ..
I think we have a better chance of beating ND than we do of beating Oregon.
This is stunning.
Possibly unfortunate
Now I have to hope that today isn't a fluke, and that they're really this terrible, because otherwise they won't be overlooking anyone.
One thing ND has going for them ..
Yeah ...
To bad I will be missing the lot of the second half. I gotta get off the comp. and go out for dinner with the Mrs. soon.
I will be back late on tonight for the Bugeaters/Cheaters game.
Keep up the thread boys and girls.
Go Bruins.
The first non moderator comment
LSU Auburn 3-0 at the half in a huge defensive "ugly" battle.
They look awful
We can beat these guys. Their secondary just isn't good at all. The questions about their suspect D are in the process of being answered.
Michigan's WR's...
Too bad we won't be able to exploit that wekaness.
Carr can be conservative...

Lets all say it
They are in BIG trouble next year all of ND offense will be GONE.
All of ND Defense will be GONE.
Jimmy Clausen wont be on a National Champoinship Caliber team for at least 2 years.
GO BRUINS!!!

ND
I am disappointed with the Michigan defense in the last minute. A prevent defense usually prevents you from winning or getting the ball back.
I still like the 34-14 score.
A smart second half by Michigan and this will be one hell of A ROUT.
GO MICHIGAN
Smart second half ...
AU knocking on the goal line.
Okay I really gotta leave now. This shit is so addicting.
Carr is a jerkoff

lol
I don't think much of a guy who took an AFC champion down to the toilet. He may be a good OC, but not a good HC.
Great game going on in TN.
And ... I hear the Sooners got robbed?
That game was crazy
by scittles on Sep 16, 2006 6:51 PM PDT up reply actions
Hmmm
Does anyone know if they can call a penalty on replay; cuz' that is what the touch by the Ducks would be. I'm not sure the officials could have done what the annoucers suggested.
Also, they were Pac-10 officials. At least it's not always a Pac-10 school getting screwed by SEC refs.
Yeah, Sooners got robbed
Glad you understand how it works.

HB
Seriously the weakest past of the Southern Cal defense is their secondary. Will Nebbie ever throw? Jesus these guys are driving me more crazy than Larry Kerr.
That's what I'm here for, Nestor
You, Menelaus, Ajax, and McKloskey bring the analysis. I bring the funny.
Hey, it's what I do.

What a bunch of morons.

A good team would beat Southern Cal tonight. A decent team would.
TD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's why I have to watch the Dodgers
yeah it is pretty bad
But I can't stay away from it. Plus not getting the blue crew here in the East.

A study in multiple personalities
Here, I'm a totally emotional being, living and dying with the Bruins, though football will always be second best.
The one constant? I'm a joke making smart ass either way.
For the record, I'd take a UCLA football championship over a Dodger World Series.
by HomeBruin @ Bruins Nation on Sep 16, 2006 7:54 PM PDT up reply actions
I would too
The most I ever mutter with the Dodgers is "son of a bitch"
UCLA, there will always be a cloud of obesneties over this apartment, long after I leave.

Rice loses big.
