Singler
At this point I will be shocked if he doesn't end up in Duke.

Jerime sounds like a perfect fit for Coach Howland's program.

Singler and Jerime
Long time lurker, first time poster.  Wanted to contribute some information I read.

From what I have read Singler's dad Ed, does not want Kyle anywhere near UCLA.  My guess is that he thinks his son would play second fiddle to Kevin Love.  Apparently, his father does not want Kyle to even take an official visit to UCLA for fear he would like the school.

As for Jerime, apparently Howland offered Larry Drew a scholarship first and Drew wanted to go to UCLA and so did his mom, but his father told him to wait.  Since UCLA needs a PG badly for 08 and there are three good ones in the West, Howland was not going to waste his time waiting.

Huh?
His dad doesn't want him at UCLA, but Duke, the school with John Scheyer and Taylor King both playing the same position as Singler, along with a plethora of McDonald's AAs every year, that's his leader?  I think your source is either wrong about Singler's interest in UCLA, or definitely wrong about the motivation.  That makes no sense.

Actually
Wreck is on the right track on this.

I'm not saying he's not
I just don't understand Mr. Singler's logic.  He'll be overshadowed by Kevin Love, but he won't be overshadowed by two guys who play the same position at a school that is loaded with McDonald's All-Americans.  That doesn't really make any sense to me.

Jerime
I was a little nervous about this guy, but I feel better after reading the article . . . I like that he's an athletic, smart kid . . . we may even get 4 years out of him!
