Love Fest at UCLA
We in Bruin Nation cannot get jacked up enough to welcome Kevin Love to campus this Fall. However, according to reports on all the wires, Karl Dorrel is going to give us more to love than Kevin Love, as he has just received a verbal commitment from Glenn Love, a 6'4" 205# safety from Chandler, Arizona. Accordaing to various reports, Glenn Love was offered at most of the Pac-10 schools (excluding SUC), but chose UCLA over ASU, Zona and Michigan. He was apparantly injured in his junior season and was flying under the radar of some of the upper echelon programs in the country. As for his senior season, Glenn Love made over 100 tackles, had 10 picks, 3 fumble recoveries, and even blocked 2 field goals, leading Chandler to the Arizona State Championship. But that isn't all! In the championship game he had 10 tackles, 2 picks, blocked a field goal and recoverd a fumble. He may be the next in a long line of awesome UCLA safeties from the days of Easley and Turner through Matt Darby and Matt Ware and will potentially shore up an already great UCLA defense. Im no fan of Karl's, but he has recruited some pretty decent skill players this year, and there will be two Loves to love at UCLA for hopefully the next four years to come! GO BRUINS!!!!!!

Why is he just a three star?
Good get
Nice get but we need some more dudes!!
Warren...
This guy may be good but....
and once again ..
It will be interesting if he can snag Conte away from Cal. We need depth in our defensive secondary. Conte could be a good addition.
Also Raymond Carter may turn out to be a good RB. But we need some game breakers at that position. We don't have one on our roster, and I am not sure if Carter is the answer.
KD has gotten decent talent to date. Good enough to win the PAC (even though he probaly will come short) but he is not recruiting or bringing talent who will make us perennial top-10 program.
We Got Conte...
And has been said before --
What makes next year even more important...
As for those three stars, many of them, like Verner, Davis, and Hickman have turned out to be studs. But let's face it, we got really lucky this year to not have any major injuries. KD's weak recruiting classes have created a lack of depth.
