KD Interviews Some UNC Reject to be His Latest Scapegoat
KD is not exactly bringing in the most elite candidates to interview for the scape-goating position. The latest guy to interview for UCLA's vacant OC position is some Butch Davis reject from UNC. From Dohn (emphasis mine):
Cignetti, who also was quarterbacks coach, was not retained by new Tar Heels coach Butch Davis.
Dorrell is trying to fill a void created when Jim Svoboda, who was UCLA's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, was fired last week.
Under Cignetti, the Tar Heels ranked 99th in scoring offense (18ppg) and 101st in total offense (293 ypg), but he had better success at Fresno State.
The 2004 Bulldogs were fifth in the nation in scoring (40.2 ppg), and in 2005 the Bulldogs were seventh in scoring (37.8 ppg).
Not surprising at all.
GO BRUINS.

Great job, Coach
Yup, next year sure ain't gonna be business as usual for Coach Dorrell. He wouldn't look to hire an inept OC, just to give him another potential scapegoat when the wheels fall off the offense, would he?
Wait a minute ...
If Lane Kiffin is ready to go to work for Al Davis, never say never.

KD would say, it's all on me
There's some kind of double-talk going on here.
Guerrero should say, yup, it's all on you. And then he should act accordingly.
But, back to the real world.
I know UNC doesn't have much talent...

Hope I don't get my a** chewed up here . . .
BUT . . .
I understand the concern, because KD doesn't have the guts to get someone that would make him look bad, it seems like he needs a yes man @ his side.
SO . . .
Why doesn't he go after a Div. 1-AA or Div. 2 head coach that has an excellent record, won championships, etc. . . . that wants to break into the Div. 1 ranks . . . we surely could pay better than what they'd be earning now, didn't Urban Meyer start off low and work his way up!?
