What Might Have Been...

A different Coach and QB might have been ours...

I was recovering yesterday from Saturday's joke when I noticed how high UK had climbed in the rankings.  I remember when BT was let go five years ago Rich Brooks wanted the job and a number of us, myself included, thought this was a bad move.  In fact I don't think DG gave him the time of day.  Boy is he proving us all wrong. He has taken Kentucky, a doormat of the SEC and made them one of the more respectable programs not only in the SEC but the country.  The exact same thing he did at Oregon.
Then I began remembering how KD completely mismanaged the recruitment of Dennis Dixon.  DD wanted to trip to Westwood and in fact if I remember correctly BT had scheduled him to come in and KD cancelled the visit.
Imagine this, we could have a team with a real coach, who would run a real offense with a QB who doesn't look like he's as stiff as a board.
Oh what might have been....
