Don't take BN for granted
In the past two years I have been amazed with the time and energy put into BN; which is more than evident in the content on the site. However, it is not until I look around at other schools' blogs that I truly get an appreciation for what you guys continue to create here for all of us to enjoy.
I just spent much of the past hour looking at the Cal blogs for links that I could send to my uncle. What I found looked like junior high projects compared to what is happening on BN. One blog hadn't even been updated since Saturday morning. BN would have had at least four new posts since the moment the last second tick down on the game clock.
And the same props goes for the readers. On any given day over at cc, you can find many lengthly posts with 0-3 comments. it has to be an awful feeling when you spend so much time creating content for readers who don't seem to exist (or at least don't care enough to make a comment).
Anyway, on this bye week let me just take the time to say I really appreciate what you guys do here at BN. It really does add to the enjoyment of my day/week/life.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Totally agree
BN provides interesting, stimulating, informative and entertaining content---and it's all free. Whiners please stay away.
I don't go over to Conquesting Chronicles of Criminals any longer (dropped it cold turkey a year ago), but it's pretty lame when only a few of the same posters lurk around that site. Oh, SuC Link, where are yoooooouuuu?
Nice post.
Also agree
The universe contains many, many mysteries. This is one of them: Why are there still KD supporters?
Read TJ Simer's column today
Amen!!
It's great that we can let them know how much we appreciate their efforts.
You're what the "Bruin family" is all about.
Nestor et al deserve tons of credit
OK, N, your turn.
Oh boy, Geezer's at it again...
M
Whoa, whoa, whoa -- FOX, not you Larry.

You Have to Qualify to be a Geezer
Come to think of it, the fact that Bill has a memory disqualifies him.
I feel much better now :)
I was over at Chick's Sporting Goods this morning, where they have sewn-on Addidas UCLA jerseys, but I digress...Anyway, these two college-kid sales guys in the shoe section were talking about "Some old guy, must have been 50". I kind of giggled to myself and then I come home and read the geezer reference..Well, I guess I'm kinda sensitive. :) Jealous really, of you guys still having fun at college. At least I work at a college, so it's almost the same thing :)
Hmmm
That's not all...
To coin a phrase
My topographic scenery isn't bad, though. I'm at the 100 yd marker on the 15th fairway. And on the other side of the fairway is a lake that is much prettier to look at than to negotiate with a golf club.
The worst day of golf....
You win! :)
Totally agree

Sorry N
Actually, Fox...
assclownery -- the act of being an assclown as committed by an indivdidual person.
assclownity -- an overall state of assclownery as conducted by multiple people on a systemic basis.
assholic -- the tendency of a person to be a, well, something that rhymes with "glass bowl."
assholism -- the chronic addiction of an individual to carry out such behavior.
And I apologize for bringing down the intellectual level of this thread to somewhere above that of canned cling peaches with this post.
M
Well, I can see you've done
And there you have it.
