To KD morons: Another domino toppled

Bumped from the diaries. GO BRUINS. -N

UCLA is no longer on top of the Pac 10.  ASU is now in first place, and with that ridiculous pro-KD argument (UCLA being first place in the Pac 10) gone, another pro-KD absurdity immediately surfaced:  UCLA is still in control of its own destiny -- win out and we will be in the Rose Bowl.

Remember at one time there was actually talk about UCLA going into the SC game 11-0?  In retrospect, what a ludicrous notion that was.  In all that pre-season euphoria of a mighty, dominating, top-5 UCLA team, people overlooked an 800-lb gorilla standing in the way.  An inept coach.  You give KD the New England Patriots to compete with college opponents, and he will find a way to royally screw it up.

The nadir of KD's incompetence for all the world to see was his decision-making in the Notre Dame game.  That game turned countless former supporters against the joker.  How could that game not?  Only morons could continue to be on his side.

And morons, indeed, remain.  They're the ones saying -- no problem, we can win out to make this a successful season after all.

Dominoes are falling one by one:

Undefeated season, gone.
Top-5 ranking, gone.
Any ranking, gone.
BCS Title hopes, gone.

And the latest, Pac 10 leader, gone.

And so, the latest battle cry of the KD morons is:  Win out.  Pat Cowan will be back.  He will make everything alright somehow.  Winning out is now not out of the question.

But the 800-lb gorilla is still there, you morons.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

KD's no 800-lb gorilla
But he does have a monkey on his back.

Love the pics Grok
KD gave you a gift with his expression in that picture too.

The sad thing
I truly think we have a legitimate shot at the Pac-10.  Everyone's falling apart in our conference (but within conference so it actually hurts their record), and ASU is way overrated.

I wish it was made clear by DG that KD will be gone at the end of the season.  As a bruin fan, I want to cheer for a conference championship, but that doesn't mean KD should stay when we win the conference by going 7-2 with overall record 8-4.

Oregon
will win the conference. You heard it here first.

And the latest, Pac 10 leader, gone.
3-0 ASU
3-0 UCLA

I dislike KD as much as anybody but your math sure is fuzzy!

Dorrell's math
UCLA beat both Stanford and OSU
Stanford beat #2 SuC
OSU beat #2 Cal
Ergo, UCLA is #1

Was looking at Yahoo's Standings
They haven't been updated yet for ASU's late game.

It's still quite a stretch on your part.

1st DOES NOT EQUAL 2nd
Man up and admit you were wrong.

Pat Hill
With all these list of candidates for head coach why has no one brought up Pat Hill from Fresno State? He has ties to So-Cal and thrives on big time competition and is a football coach unlike KD who is more suited to coach a girls softball team.

by jcollins28 on Oct 14, 2007 9:54 AM PDT reply actions   0 recs

No team of any sort deserves
to have KD as coach.

Pat Hill, in my opinion -- while definitely a major upgrade over KD -- is not what I would call a nationally-recognized name.  But I have seen his name mentioned in the past as a viable UCLA candidate.

Pat Hill
I live in the Fresno area and the fans up here would like notning better than to get rid of Pat Hill.

He is a far better Coach than KD is, but bor fot UCLA.

He has taken strong teams and outcoached himself to losses against inderior teams. Sound familiar.

S/B not for UCLA
Excuse the new language I created.

OK, thanks...
... I wasn't sure if "bor fot UCLA" was some new code for how CTS has battered up the prorram from the inside.

"What's the state of UCLA Football?  Is it totally fubar?"

"No, man, it's worse.  It's totally bor fot."

5 most embarrassing losses of the Dorrell era
  1. at Arizona 52-14
  2. at Utah 44-6
  3. vs. Notre Dame 20-6
  4. at USC 66-19
  5. soon to be whatever the score is when we lose to Arizona in 3 weeks
Win out. Right.

Don't forget
the hideous losses to (supposedly) lesser teams in crappy bowl games.

by Barnes2JJ on Oct 14, 2007 10:26 AM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

and I'd add
our coming loss as a PO'ed Cal team takes out their frustrations.

I think Wyoming
is currently #5. I mean, geez, WYOMING!?

Funny to see all the anti-Tedford stuff
on the other message boards. The blindos really hate Tedford, and have flooded the other sites with the usual silly "Fire Tedford" and "Tedford overrated" nonsense.

If they're unhappy
I hear there's a young up and coming coach they can hire. Carl something - I can't seem to recall...

by Tydides on Oct 14, 2007 11:24 AM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Oh, I wasnt referring to Cal fans
I was referring to the Dorrell hinks on the UCLA boards who all hate Tedford so much. They're on every UCLA board with "fire tedford" and "i wouldnt want tedford at UCLA" posts.

it's hilarious

by BillyZoom on Oct 14, 2007 11:45 AM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Its not a surprise at all
During Lavin era whenever a good coach would lose a game before Steve-16s, the hoops board would get flooded w "Fire Coach K", "Fire Roy," "Fire Lute," or "Fire Monty" kind of nonsense. These clowns are more predictable than Pavlov's dogs.

by Nestor on Oct 14, 2007 5:59 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yet, not a peep out of those clowns following
such losses at Pauley as:

Cal State Northridge.
University of San Diego.

These were losses of epic proportions, absolute embarrassments.  But those clowns would lie low and wait for the storm to blow over, and then resurface again.

Tedford might have called a bad game, but his team was sitting at #2, with a chance to move up to #1.  Even in his wildest dream, KD is not capabable of even imagining himself ever in such a situation.  The kind of territory that is familiar to KD is answering the bell agains a doormat like UW.
