that were ended by game three. Another season with high hopes turned disastrous by game six. Once again by the beginning of October I'm already forced to look forward to next season because in Dorrell land we have 11 month offseasons (Just look at his post Ocotber 1st record).
Well it was a nice September while it lasted guys, minus the Utah loss. I was able to feel good for a half of one game, kind of, against Stanford for whatever that's worth considering they were the worst team ever last year. I knew it was over in my head watching BYU, it came to fruition by Utah and the ugly wins against UDub and Oregon St. only prolonged the inevitable post Ocotber demise. It's always over by Ocotber with Dorrell unless you're the type of guy that gets excited pondering whether we'll be bowling in Vegas or the Silicon Valley or maybe nowhere at all! Who knows maybe the football team we'll be joining us in the worldwibe web come December as they prepare for a very likely insight.com bowl matchup. Keep your fingers crossed!
This couldn't have been a worse weekend for me. My Angels get swept because they refuse to get a power bat after they inexplicably let Molina and Glaus go a few years ago and since then those our are two weak spots, but I digress. On top of that my beloved Bruins lose to the laughingstock of college football, and while a silver lining is Dorrell will be fully exposed as coach, Pete Carroll has to upstage him and lose to Stanford. Instead we're not even on the front page of the L.A. Times or ESPN.com for a story that surely would've been the lead story of the month. Don't get me wrong I'm glad the Trojans lost but I bet a friend they would lose at least two games this year before the year started. Why did it have to be this week, thus taking a little pressure off Dorrell?
Even more frustrating is the guy who beat the Trojans, Harbaugh, is the guy I wanted if Dorrell was fired last year. Harbaugh doesn't back down from challenges and states his opinions and nevermind who cares. Baseball season is over. Football season is over, everything is over. I am mentally numb right now...UCLA basketball save me.
