T shirt idea
I realize that DumpDorrell.com already has a campaign going off, and it is very hopefully going to be successful with the media and in accomplishing the goal of getting KD fired. I'll definitely join in.
That being said, there is something about the slogan that is not altogether greatly appealing to me. I don't know what everyone else thinks, but I wouldn't mind wearing a t-shirt that had four large letters:
"F.U.K.D."
KD stands for Karl Dorrell, obviously. FU I am not sure is necessary to explain.
That being said, two separate slogans might detract more than help the campaign. And I do like the irrefutability of the cold solid fact: #4.
Another thing is to start a petition that requires a ucla or ucla alumni email to sign. While this may not garner as many signatures as a normal participation, it may help attract media attention because it is signed by ucla students / alumni only.
I don't know, this diary is a bit stupid and rambling but I am just deflated about the state of our program. Even if someone had no previous football experience (watching or playing), I would guess that playing Madden 2007 on an xbox for two days would teach you to make better calls and adjustments.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

You're absolutely right of course
Oh well, no harm done.
(This is why I'm not trying to be the English Department Chair. Maybe KD should take some notes on being in a field where his strengths are used, e.g. not coaching)

I don't know about advertising the fact that KD
I think F.U.K.D works. It kind of reminds me of F.C.U.K and that's a prestigious clothing company so it's not as juvenile as people may think. It's short simple and is a nice little double entendre of we're screwed and screw Dorrell.

You might attract the key 18 to 49
Geezers, of course, are in the minority by definition. But I didn't think obscenity was cute even when I was a kid (i.e., younger than 49.) To me, it means that you are witty enough to come up with something better. It's the Romper Room response - "Oh yeah, well &%*#@ you."
OK, end of rant.

Cumulatively, it is true
I believe the overall conference record indicates an average season = Las Vegas Bowl.

1st year spelling ...
Seriously though, I acknowledged that it was juvenile in the actual post (see: "a bit stupid"). I was just throwing the idea out, and I appreciate and agree with the honest opinions of the posters above. The only justification was the double meaning of the four letters.
So there is really no need for insults.

Addendum
"F mediocrity (Weak Coast Offense)
and its leader Dorrell. I'm so sick of this.
oh and Fuck Bush and Carroll."
I acknowledge the difference between complaining on a forum and a public t-shirt. However, the language in your comment demonstrates the EMOTIONAL frustration with the team, which expletives are usually used to express.
Does that comment make you juvenile automatically due to cursing? I would argue not. Does having an implied double-entendre curse make the T-shirt juvenile? Possibly. Was your sophomore insult juvenile? Absolutely.

No obscenity, or anything close to it
The people on the fence don't want to identify with vulgarity.

FU Karl Tour
Again, the tour would be called the "FU KARL Tour", which stands for "Farewell from the University Karl". T-shirts would be a natural memento from each tour stop.

Way back when
That was deemed unacceptable in 1965.
Times have changed, and I am sure that I will to explain it to some.
I think the "Farewell Tour" is a clever idea. But there is no need to expand the basic parody at all. Just make a T-shirt with the schedule on it, and whatever else gets put on those kinds of shirts. In my opinion, the joke is just as good without any acronym at all. It would look like you're stretching to make a joke, and really, is any stretching necessary to make a joke about this football program?
