Here's a quote from a Yahoo story about the humanitarian who typifies all that justsc stands for. No, not Cheatie Petie, but the one and only OJ. OJ's attorney was talking about a co-defendant moving to separate his case from OJ's.
"Simpson attorney Yale Galanter said he understood Lucherini's concerns.
'You don't want to try your case in front of the cameras if you don't have to,' Galanter said. But he added that in some circles, Simpson is 'very well-revered to this day.'" (Emphasis added.)
OK, Bruins. Let's play the game OJ's lawyer invited us to play. How many "circles" can you think of in which OJ is revered?
We know he's still revered in heritage hall. (For those of you who don't know, heritage hall is sort of like the warden's office.) Mike Garrett has no problem leaving OJ memorabilia on display. Apparently, OJ has yet to tumble to the fact that some of his stuff is there, and hasn't showed up to liberate it.
I can't think of any other place he's revered, except maybe the Galanter household, which will get a very tidy influx of cash as a result of this latest OJ-ism. )I wonder if Galanter will automatically get to represent OJ2 when the time comes.)
Anyway, are there any more circles where OJ is revered?
