Look what happened when Oregon lost their QB

They too lost @ Arizona and they were the consensus number two team in the land!  At least they got to play their number 2 quarterback while we had to play our 4th string quaterback against them.  Against ND we had to play a walk on quarterback. We also were forced to play a walk on running back against Arizona.  You can't win consistently with injuries like that.

USC lost at Oregon when they had to play only their backup QB.  What would happen if even powerhouse SuC had to play a 4th stringer? See it's hard to win with inexexperienced QB's people and all of our QB's including Big Ben and Patrick "heart of a lion" Cowan have only started a handful of games in their careers due to injuries.

Moreover we've been improving and despite all of the injuries we almost beat ASU, the number 9 team in the nation people!

I think we can beat Oregon now and have a very good shot of winning one of our last two games if not both and going to a bowl game for the fifth straight year which should give us momentum going into next year.  I'm excited to see what Rashaan can do given these few starts and hopefully the starting gig next year. He'll have some growing pains in his first year starting next year but i'm confident he can grow into a great QB and watch out in 2009.

This team will be in the national title hunt in 2009 especially after our great recruiting class has blossomed, mark my word.  We can't lose all that due to some knee jerk reaction due to injuries.  We went 10-2 two years ago. Last year we had inexperience at QB and this year we got really unlucky in the injury department. Due to the injuries this year we'll still have QB's who are wet behind the ear next year.  But with the recruits coming in next year and a whole year of game experience for whoever starts next year it should bode well for 09.

GO BRUINS

Keep KD, don't ruin a good thing coming.
