Are there more candidates out there?
Many members of the BN community have astutely observed that the simplest explanation why DG hasn't made his decision is that he's not done with the process of collecting his prospects and arranging interviews. As gobruins89 commented in an earlier front page post, Herm Edwards is still being mentioned in the New York Times.
But for the most part, things have been quiet. But now Doh! relays the latest from the Walker PR committee, oops, I mean he "reports" that DG is not done with the interview process. Apparently this has been confirmed by both DyNoMite and his brother.
We'll see. I personally hope DG is taking his time, evaluating all his options, and will make the best decision at the end of the day. Meanwhile, on a somewhat related note since the latest news will inevitably spur further rumors of "interest" in DyNoMite, Perelman notes that, contrary to the propaganda you read on some of the other sites, "Washington has no history of paying its assistants anywhere near the $300,000-plus that Walker is getting currently"
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

There has to be more candidates
Absolutely
That is without a doubt. They want someone who is not currently available. I don't know who, but they are waiting on someone else.

Walker is not a fallback
What is interesting
Why haven't we heard his name in the mix for West Va position (a school that is mostly looking at coordinators)?
Why haven't we heard his name in the mix for LSU or Texas DC positions?
Anyone?
Could it be
In other words, they looked at the facts and not the hype and said thanks but no thanks.
Believe me N
Glad you asked...
An immodest proposal by the search firm that Dan Guerrero should've hired.
