First to 100 Rally

Ben Howland was there, but I didn't know until he was leaving, and my camera was away, so no picture of him -- bummer. Every other one of our "Super Coaches" was in attendance (those who have won more than a handful of national championships). Of course, Karl Dorrel was not present (at least, I didnt see him). The crowd had a few hundred people there, many of whom were athletes and coaches.

They gave away free "First to 100" hats to the first 100 fans (ha-ha, they have some humor in the Morgan Center). Unfortunately, I had to show up late due to class so I didn't get one :-/

Anyway, enjoy.

The Best Thing

...about that last pic is NOT Sean looking like a doofus. It's JJ looking down, defeated. I was lucky enough to be on the field for the UCLA/USC Football game back in December, hoisting the field goal nets. With two minutes left, he was prowling the end line with his mic, talking all sorts of smack. Then O'Neill snatched the INT, and JJ shut the hell up... he had tears in his eyes... and he hung his head just like in the pic... Just like football, just like basketball, just like baseball, just like women's water polo... SWEEEEEEP. And the biggest Lexus Gauntlet margin ever. I love our Bruins... and hate the Sociopath Criminals.

Is it just me?

Sean Farnham: He's a good host, a decent commentator, and obviously is more intelligent than his co-host (gotta be that UCLA education), but sometimes watching them in the Lexus Gauntlet show gets on my last nerve. Sean is always interrupting JJ. JJ just can't get a word in. I always end up feeling sorry for that little Trojie. Am I the only one who feels this way? I'd also like to see more of that babe Lindsay Soto.
