Toby Bailey update. Or, another Golden State Bruin?

Toby Bailey is currently playing for the Golden State Warriors' NBA summer league team in Las Vegas. The Oakland Tribune recently published a piece on Toby' final try to make it in the NBA, after playing several successful seasons in Europe.

"Everybody's like, 'What are you doing now? Why aren't you in the NBA?'" Bailey said. "You get tired of hearing that after a while. So I'd love to get back one more time and show everybody that I still have it."

The Warriors are providing what may be Bailey's last chance to do that. So far, he's taking advantage as best he can.

Although Bailey -- whose 32nd birthday looms in November -- is the elder statesman on Golden State's Las Vegas Summer League team, he is averaging 11.7 points per game on 54.2 percent shooting.

... The success of Matt Barnes, another UCLA alum, at cracking the Warriors' roster last season after being a training-camp invitee helped motivate Bailey's return

The chances of Toby making the Golden State roster are slim; while I am not too familiar with the NBA summer league, I just don't see space on this year's roster. However, his play in Vegas could lead to a training camp invite somewhere in the league.
