Pac-10 Coaches - 2007 South Park
I noticed there appeared to be a void in the many updated coaches as South Park entries for 2007 - the SEC one was hilarious (the shot of Nick Saban really is priceless). But alas, there was no Pac-10 version for 2007! So, that said, I decided to remedy that. I couldn't really pass up the opportunity to poke some more fun at Pete Carroll, and hell, Dennis Erickson is a waiting mine-field of comedic joy. He's almost as vulnerable as Saban - not quite, though.
At any rate, here are your 2007 Pac-10 conference coaches.
Cross-posted from my own blog, but figured I'd share with you guys over here. Karl of course retains his handy playbook - no doubt to easily refer to the run, run, pass combinations he and Norvell will through at defenses this year. And of course, Pete Carroll is just so happy to be watched on high by a chorus of angels. He'll get through thanking them, just as soon as he gets back from skateboarding and body-surfing in Hermosa Beach. He has to work on his tan, after all.
And Jim Harbuagh really likes his whip. He plans on using it on his offensive line after they fold under defensive pressure. And then everyone will run wind sprints. Five times. In the sun.
Mike Stoops just wants another beer.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Hey a black man with a gun
Attack his coaching abilities. Attack his decision making regarding football. Attack his stupid comments that make you question his UCLA education. Attack whatever you need to get rid of COACH KD. Attach a hand cuff to Eric Scott.
But to attach a stereotypic image to an African American coach... ahhhhhh whatever, things will never change.

It's sad to see an alum
Also, I give this site and Jason a ton of props. Most sites would have just bitched at the guy for his "sky is falling" tactics. However, this site is mature enough to see the SUBSTANCE of Justwatching's rant; that is, using the gun is just too stereotypical an image to use, even though the gun reference is understandable considering the Scott situation.

I don't want fuel a dwindling fire, but
No one knows what another person's level of sensitivity is. But by just about any measure, this was not even close to the same genre as "White Nation," for example.
But the best aspect of this mini-dispute is that it's over.

I want all of us to be one happy Bruin family
At the same time, I also defend justwatching's right to react the way he did. That is his freedom of speech.
But there was no malice originally intended toward any group or ethnicity. It was poking fun at one particularly individual, KD, and how he dealt with Scott's past issues with guns.
The cartoon, to me, now has lost its original "bite," and it should not have been revised.

I can understand being offended only if you didn't get the inside joke. You don't see anyone religious getting upset about the halo over Cheatie Petie's head...

Actually, I AM offended by the halo...
I'm Catholic, but a LOUSY one, and I know I have to do a whole boatload of good deeds if I'm to have the slightest chance of going to heaven to hopefully be with God and to reunite with my wife and kids after I die.
But Carroll? A man who's far from humble, far from meek, and yet seems to encourage the (alleged) rule-breaking and lawlessness and unaccountability of his own players, guys he claims he's trying to help mold and guide into becoming upstanding, responsible young men???
The thought of HIM with a halo bugs me.

Speaking of Bruins, where is the official gathering of fans and alumni for saturday afternoons in the DC/Philadelphia region, mainly DC. Thanks.

Hey, you expressed a concern.
As far as I'm concerned, if youdiosagrew tih something in here, feel free to express it, but just remember to do so in as considerate and respectful a manner as you can. Lesson learned.
Let's move on, everybody.
