My favorite part about last Saturday

Bumped. This is all kinds of AWESOME. GO BRUINS- N

I finally got to hoist my UCLA flag.

I've always wanted a flag pole and finally installed one over the summer so I could:

  1. fly my American flag and
  2. fly my UCLA flag on game day (fb, hoops and baseball)
I was out of town for the  first two games so the Utah game was my first official hoist. It will now go up on every game day, all day. Win, lose or blown out of the water.

Go Bruins! How's that for positivity?

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

And for those of you who are superstitious...
it was up for the other two football games, I just wasn't part of the ceremonies. So if there is a problem, it may me and not the flag.

My HOA would kill me . . .
. . . or rather just try "memo-ing me to death"

Looks good
I hang a banner off the front of my garage. Last Saturday as I was hanging it, some neighbors from the dark side gave me a hard time. As we all suffered through the game, my wife came home in the third quarter from wherever she was and wanted to know why I had left it up so long given the embarrassment.
I waited until the neighborhood was quiet and took it down quickly and without  any more grief.

Two flags
that I can pledge allegiance to. Very nice.

The image
I will probably use it as a stand-in for our big days, such as V-Day, Memorial Day etc.

Just a great picture. I love it.

Not to rain on anyone's parade...
I too have a flagpole in my front yard, and after last weeks game, my UCLA flag came down.  Sorry guys, blame it on the clown.

I have neither flagpole nor flag
but if I did I would fly it upside down.  That's the classic distress signal.  And Bruins, is there any doubt that our program is in distress?

I like the distress signal idea...
maybe I will sew a "SOS" to the pole as well.

Fly it at half staff...
maybe I'll do that instead of putting it away, just to prove a point...then I'll take a picture of it and send it to DG, in remembrance of our football program.
