UCLA Launches YouTube Channel
After much talk here about the need for a UCLA channel on YouTube, UCLA's site finally opens.

That is nothing new
Check out the channel date. That has been around since 2006. That is a general UCLA youtube channel.
If I have right, BN has been talking about a youtube channel specifically dedicated to UCLA athletics (just like Cal’s athletic program).
I wonder why they ran the article
If the channel has been around that long. It seems as though there was a soft opening, perhaps to test it.

On the main ucla.edu page
They go into a bit of detail. Not only have they added the YouTube channel, but also an iTunesU feature and are advertising the UCLA fan page which I beleieve has also been around for a while. Here’s hoping all of this exposure is carried out smarter than the Fresno ads we saw last week..but everything looks pretty great so far.

This channel was already in existence
It’s a good thing but what we are looking for on BN is a channel dedicated to UCLA athletics, which will have the videos from our official athletic website. This is not it.
