Stanford Photos and Video
Return of the Sweater-Vest
Despite temps in the 80's, national top-10 coolest coach Rick Neuheisel donned the vest that took down Tennessee. And in an erriely similar fashion our Bruins came back from behind to defeat Stanford's ground-chuck offense. You can see from the slideshow below, it was just another beautiful Southern California day at the Rose Bowl. UCLA would treat us to another nail-biter, sure to stop fans from getting on the freeways early. Enjoy the slideshow, especially for those Bruin fans in exile (shout out to 66!) who couldn't catch the game live - it's so much more enjoyable when we come out with a win!

Tele, you nailed it, again!
Wow! I got goose bumps going through the slide show.
You capture so much more than the game — you capture the Bruin experience. What a great eye and sense of the big picture.
This is my favorite part of Sunday morning. (Well, I did enjoy the Powell interview on Meet the Press).
Thanks.

Hope being a “grunt” for Jen’s marching band was fun! Ah, the sacrifices (lovingly) made for our kids.
(Sure was hard keeping my emotions in check for some of those shots – especially that last touchdown!)
Fantastic slide-show, T
Love the burst sequences, especially the game-winning TD pass. Almost like watching slo-mo, seeing the blocking patterns, pass routes, and unexpecteds.
Couldn’t quite make out the “Stanford band makes fun of SUC” series. What were they spelling out and playing?
Profuse thanks for these. I’m not exactly in exile, but I appreciate them greatly, nonetheless.

The “PUSH” spellout was for the illegal “Bush Push” on Leinart against Notre Dame in 2005
“HOTEL” and “NOTEL” was for sUc players’ questionable housing arrangements
I didn’t catch all of what the announcer was saying for the last couple spell outs, but he said something about how sUc players always seem to get a “get out of jail free card,” and had earlier made reference to OJ. It might have been a “25 to Life” spellout for OJ’s current conviction.
Others at the game, please feel free to jump in here . . .

.. had a White Bronco “car” made out of PVC pipe and butcher paper he was carrying around the field; It was pretty great
Oh, My...
Tele, you have an utterly extraordinary eye. You have an ability to capture the “life breath” of the moment. Many of your shots evoke a “Cover of Life Magazine”-like response, (that’s a real compliment from an old gal like me, BTW).
Your photos reveal those tiny, but deeply meaningful and insightful details…the bottom of Rosario’s shoes, (which apparently, have invisible wings on them), as he goes up for the catch, Coach Neu’s body language as he shifts his weight “for” Craft, like a passenger-seat “driver”.
You have a tremendous gift.
Thank you.

Life Magazine?
Wow, I remember my family having a subscription to that magazine. Loved the big format for the photos. Appreciate the nice compliment. Goes as well for the other nice posters! (I do have the advantage of great subject matter!)
