Chris Horton Wins NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month
Said Horton: "I've just been doing what I've been doing all my life, and that's playing football and making plays. I don't look at it like I have to show people what I can do. All I needed was the opportunity. I got the opportunty and now I'm making the most of it."
It's the second award handed down from the NFL to Horton this season. He was also named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 2.

Way to go Chris!
I hope DW gave him a call to congratulate him. He’s looking much bigger too. Making UCLA look good, and hopefully this will help recruiting!

Impressive considering
he was a seventh round draft pick. Those guys rarely make the team and if so, are often fighting to stay on special teams or the practice squad. Huge credit to Chris for his efforts and props to the Redskins for recognizing his talent.
