Lute Olsen Steps Down as UofA Coach
I just heard on ESPN that Lute Olsen has stepped down from coaching. I think this is a good deal for the program. There was too much drama and it has been getting embarrassing for Arizona. I wonder who will be replacing him? Dunlap will take over for now. This news is really no surprise considering all that has gone down over there in that past couple of seasons. Either way this will surely change the standard. This according to Dick Vitale.

Pretty shadey of old Loot
Secure a nice recruiting class, give the kids the impression that he’ll be around, then bail.
Stay classy Loot.

The class hasn’t signed yet, have they?

It's all over the media
He assured the kids that he’d be around to coach them. I’m assuming that assurance was a factor in their decision to commit. Given his recent physical and emotional decline, he never should have made such assurances in the first place.

What a circus!!
I agree the timing is unusual. I wonder if Jennings leaving for Europe was the last straw. If it is health related, he has to do what is best for him. I feel for AZ fans.
