Game Day Links: On The Road

I am on the road this weekend … so don’t have any time to put together game day roundups. So I will point to UCLA sections of the LA Times, the Daily News, the OC Register, and the Press Enterprise this am. Go through the stories and if something significant stands out this morning, please share them in the comment section here or if it merits a stand alone post, throw it up in the FanPost or FanShots.

Bruins have a huge challenge in Berkeley this afternoon:

We haven’t won a game in the Strawberry Canyon since 1998. That was also the last time we won the Pac-10 (with #18). Bruins lead the series v. Bears by a count of 49-28-1. The teams have split the last eight meetings, with each team winning on its home field during the run. UCLA's last win in Berkeley came in the 1998 season (28-16).
