It would be great to see this kid in a jersey with those 4 Magical letter's. He seem's like a bright young man. We will have to se what happens, hopefully he makes the best decision for himself and his family.
Go Bruins!

It was only a matter of time
Expect Washington to make a hard push and I actually think they’re the favorite right now. With all the issues at Arizona, I think Gaddy and family eventually decide it’s best for him close to home.

Rye
Why would Washington be the favorite? Didn’t his decision come down between AZ and UCLA?

Not Sure,
My impression from the Tacoma News Tribune articles running a while back was that they kind of wanted this kid distanced from the area.

He did home down to UCLA and UofA last time
and I don’t think Washington was a major player last time, but from what I’ve heard, Gaddy and his family are very high on Washington now. After the mess that went down in Arizona, Gaddy and his family are thinking it may be best for him to stay close to home. They did think it was best before if he got away from home, but after the chaos on Arizona, being away from home isn’t as appealing as it once was. My guess is that Gaddy waits until the spring to sign and will keep an eye on Washington to see how good they are this year. I think the Huskies will have a pretty good year so I think that, combined with the mess in Arizona leads Gaddy to Seattle, but I could certainly be wrong. When it comes to recruiting like this, we’re all just really guessing anyways. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he came to Westwood, but I just think he’s a Husky lean right now.

Here's a quote from Dohn's blog about how UW got back in the mix
“How (Washington) got back involved was after the Arizona situation, I think he thought, ‘You know what, maybe this is a sign I should stay close to home,’ " Abdul Sr. said. "The University of Washington always stayed in contact with him.”

Dumb question alert
is this kid a recruit for the 08-09 season or the 09-10 season?

09-10
and due to his being extremely young for his class, he won’t be eligible for the draft until after his sophomore year.
