Olson's Stroke Led to Retirement
Well, I guess this makes it a bit more understandable about his sudden departure. I still don't get why he waited so long to announce...but all the same. I respect Olson a lot, and let me be the first to wish him well. Get better Coach

That's terrible
Hope he is still able to enjoy his retirement.

What a shame
I hope Lute gets well soon and gets some much deserved rest. As I mentioned before over the years in the heat of this rivalry we have made a lot of fun of Lute. But today, I wish him nothing but good luck and great health. Get well Coach Olson.

Good Luck Lute
Lute built a great program in the desert. This in turn raised the quality of BB in the Pac-10 conference. I loved our rivalry with Zona. Best of luck to Lute in his retirement.

Man...
hope Lute has a long prosperous life away from basketball. He got a little “weird” at the end but he has always had my respect for the program he built.

WOW...
I didn’t see that coming but I knew SOMETHING was wrong with him. I’ve never been a fan, but that is really unfortunate. I bet the ESPN writer that wrote about his ungraceful exit feels a little bad, but who could have known? That is crazy!

My Best Wishes
to Lute and his family. I’m just suspicious of the AD and their department in general—surely they could see that something was wrong?
