Bruins Land Another JUCO OL Commit
Bruins land another JUCO OL commit:
Eddie Williams, a 6-foot-1, 315-pound offensive lineman out of Mt. San Antonio College, has committed to UCLA.
Williams, who prepped at Damien Memorial in Honolulu, spent his first year at Pasadena City College, then transferred to Mt. San Antonio College. He plays right guard but has practiced at center, too.
"One of the main reasons why I chose UCLA is because I know academic-wise it's good and their coaches stress it's important not only to go to class but to get extra tutoring," Williams said. "If football doesn't work, you can have your degree. They're in need of help (on the offensive line) and if I can help them out, I'm more than glad too."
Williams said he must take four or five classes next semester and at least one in the summer in order to earn his associates of arts degree.
Per Bruin Report Online, Eddie is the 3rd JUCO recruit to commit to UCLA in last two weeks. Here is our current commitment list.
GO BRUINS.

Good News!
We need all the linemen we can get. And, not just the quality type linemen. We need guys that can challenge the starters and provide brutal scrimmages that can best prepare them for Saturdays. After all the injuries and lost playing time we’ve suffered this year, The line is the one aspect of the team I will be most concerned with in the years to come.
