Culture Change
From local LA TV station KTLA comes these two clips focusing on the strength and conditioning program instituted by Head Athletic Performance Coach Mike Linn. Coach Linn talks about the impact of his program on the freshmen, especially the Friday workouts. Running back Milton Knox refers to Friday workouts as "two-hours of death," while fellow freshman linebacker Patrick Larimore calls them "man-maker" Fridays.
In this clip, Coach Linn and the freshmen talk about changing the culture and perception around UCLA's football program.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

I don't think so
the Head Strength Coach usually works with football players only, which is why they are hand picked by the FB Head Coach.

I think they usually do all sports
But Howland has his own strength coach, because he didn’t like Dorrell’s.

Previous post on Mike Linn
I posted in February that, during a round of golf with members of the women’s golf team from UCLA, as part of a charity event, they offered up the comment among themselves, while we were waiting to hit on one hole, about the new strength coach. Comments like, “He is right in the faces of the football players” and “one guy was about to explode lifting some weights”. Apparently the women’s golf team lifts weights the same time as the football team. Another comment from a senior, “Last year the strength coach was too nice. They lifted but when he wasnt’ around, nobody showed up”, etc.

ditto on the videos
They inspire hope for the coming seasons and patience for this season. A great bunch of freshman that they interviewed. Looks like they’re going to get monster strong.
