They have had more than a week off since their last game in the Big Apple. Per practice reports Coach Howland has been trying out a a little motion offense during practices this week. It will be interesting to see the result of those practices tonight when they take on Florida International Golden Panthers.

The tipoff is scheduled for 4:30 pm PST.  Once again it will be broadcast on FSNPT. You can track it via the official site.

As always if you are watching the game, share your instant thoughts/commentary here in our game thread.

How long will it take for them to realize UCLA isn’t ranked #22?

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 4:37 PM PST reply actions

3 turnovers already

But Jrue has all 5 points.

Am I the only one here?

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 4:39 PM PST reply actions

Jrue Tracker

7 points already. He’s getting inside with ease, looking like he can light up FIU for about 30 if he wanted to.

UCLA up 9-4, 15:43 left in the first.

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 4:44 PM PST reply actions

Amazing start for Jrue

Offensive board and put back on a missed 3 by Drag. 11-4 UCLA, 9 pts for Jrue.

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 4:45 PM PST reply actions

Where is everyone?

I don’t get PT, so I can’t even watch the game.

by GoBruins98 on Nov 29, 2008 4:46 PM PST reply actions

Dragovic and Gordon

are the first subs.

Gordon with a nice defensive board, now draws a charge.

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 4:46 PM PST reply actions

Breakout game for Holiday?

I’d like to see him take over a few games.

by GoBruins98 on Nov 29, 2008 4:49 PM PST reply actions

Roll in for Shipp

Gordon / Drag / Roll / Holiday / Collison

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 4:51 PM PST reply actions

3-on-2 break

Roll to Collison to Holliday for the layup and a trip to the FT line after the commercial break.

19-5 UCLA, 11:18 to go.

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 4:53 PM PST reply actions

And-1

Jrue makes the FT. 12 pts so far. Now Malcolm Lee comes in for Jrue.

20-5 UCLA.

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 4:55 PM PST up reply actions

Bobo in too

UCLA full courts. Lee with the steal, then athletically throws the ball off the FIU guy as he goes out of bounds!

Roll for 2! UCLA up 22-5.

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 4:56 PM PST reply actions

Nice start

Thanks for the play by play Raisin

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 5:05 PM PST reply actions

FIU cracks double digits around 6:05

32-11.

Jerime misses a 3, Malcolm Lee couldn’t save it. Jerime is really able to get in the paint with ease, he just isn’t or cannot go all the way to the bucket.

by Raisin on Nov 29, 2008 5:09 PM PST reply actions

Jerime looked solid, now is out

All the freshman have except Malcolm Lee (though his athleticism is unmistakable).

I know it's taboo on this board...

SPTR's alive and well in Corvallis

a uncatchable pass interference call keeps a late Oregon drive alive. 23-10 Ducks, 1:19 in the 2nd qtr

Pitt/WSU looks like a good game

Would be nice to see the Pac-10 step up

by GoBruins98 on Nov 29, 2008 5:40 PM PST reply actions

Yeah

between us, ASU, and USC all losing games early on the pac-10 is not looking too strong. Washington almost pulled out against Florida but we could really use this win.

Sorry guys

Missed the first few minutes of the second half while watching the Civil War.

football update

USC is absolutely dominating ND. Don’t get the civil war or the bball game out here so i’m watching the football game. SC’s athletes are incredible. They’re outclassing ND in every aspect of the game. We’re gonna have a tough week ahead of us….
