They do have solid grad programs over there and going to the graduate school is whole different deal than being loyal to an institution when you went for your undergrad. Ask someone like Menelaus or Class of 66. :-)

Don’t feel too bad about SC; like N said, attending their (or any) grad school just does not bring up the loyalty issues that undergrad does. And SC’s professional programs are pretty solid. I could have attended SC law, and had my admissions process gone differently, been happy to go; other of my Bruin friends attended and thought it fine, while one of my close friends is now at Annenberg and thinks the world of it.

You will be fine. Just remember to wear blue during SC week :)

Bear in mind you will have to be on their campus everyday. You will have to see trOJan scum in their ketchup and mustard gear on a daily basis. You’ll have to fight the urge to pull it out and urinate on that stupid trOJan statute every time you walk past it. You’ll have to suffer through the idiotic ramblings of Carroll’s acolytes.

Just the thought makes me want to f**king puke.
