The list

was made in dedication of Coach and the Bruins who were fortunate to play for him.

Was this a list made by Coach

or something someone else things would be what Coach would make if he made a list?

No matter whose list it is, I have a couple of bones to pick. I say Cunningham and Johnny Green, and they were solid players. Were they to their teams what some of the other players were to their respective teams? I don’t think so. As far as I recall, they were above average, but not the kind of guy who you would think of as a “go to” guy when the chips were down. Neither was to their team what AA1 was to his.

I respectfully disagree and respectfully chide Coach for leaving John Vallely off the list, and I do the same, although not respectfully if the list was made by someone purporting to read Coach’s mind.

Somehow I Doubt

that Coach Wooden would rank his former players—too much opportunity for a perceived slight. Also, in most of his interviews that I can recall, his comments regarding former players dealt more with their characters.
