Spencer Havner makes NFL Debut
This guy was one of my favorite Bruins, and even in the dark KD/Larry Kerry days, he always made big plays (even the ones that got called back for b.s. reasons -- Bush fumble recovery in 2004) , so it was great to see him finally make his debut with the Packers, after working long and hard to get his chance.
There's a great writeup about Spencer in his hometown paper, thought you guys would enjoy the read

Good For Spencer
Always nice to see former Bruins playing at the next level.
All I want for Christmas is Mark Teixeira and Jake Peavy as Angels in 2009.

He has been on the Packers practice squad for about two years
He got moved up to the active roster after Brandon Chillar got hurt and stayed because the Packers defense is dropping like flies.
Chillar has been playing well for the Packers, but missed a tackle yesterday that led to MJD scoring. So, I guess if you are going to get burned, it might as well be against your former college teammate.
