Here's a highlight cutup of Morrell Presley and Carson (CA) vs. Baning (CA), a classic LA city rivalry game. I was at Carson last season, me being a UCLA alumni (2008) dealing with Presley all season, as well as our head coach, who is also a trojan - this is the best news I've heard in awhile (and trust me, it is news, even to people who know Morrell).
Presley is big #8, about half the time we had him split wide or in the slot, a lot of times we did not line up with a true TE (towards the end of the season, almost exclusively at WR...I'm thinking that he may play WR for us - he is listed as WR in the under armour all american game on january 4th).
1:22 is a catch down the seam
1:34 near side split wide you can see he needs to work on his effort in run blocking (does not even touch #1, the player who eventually makes the TD-saving tackle)
next play he makes a great catch over a defender for the TD
3:51 is him in the flat
4:00 minutes, next play is the best grab of the night - defender has position but he goes up in the air, reaches over him, and makes the catch at the 1-yard line.
4:21 he is split out wide right at the top of the screen, you can see he needs to get involved in the run game
4:50 is another TD catch, wide open off a trick play - somersaults in the endzone and gets a 15-yard flag
This game we had a sophomore QB making his first start, and he was still able to get the ball to Morrell.
There's a couple things he needs to work on...some will just come with him growing up, and being at UCLA will help, but hes a good kid, not really big-headed, and is pretty smart football-wise (he understands defenses, coverage, sees things out on the field).
I dont know about the next marcedes lewis, unless they got a great weight program for him....maybe what we thought dominuque johnson would have been for us.

It will be interesting
I am guessing by enrolling early he will hopefully be in better shape this August than a typical freshmen. We have some good kids lined up at WR as Moutra, Rosario and Jerry Johnson are coming back with one year under their belts. Plus we also have Embree.
I think Chow will have him lined up as a WR every now and then, but not sure if he is going to cut in another WR’s time in a big way. We will see I guess.
Thanks for the clips. Great stuff.
