Some thoughts on second half
- SuC’s first drive out of second half will be huge. We will need to bring some heat and Sanchez eat the turf again.
- when McKnight is in we have to keep a close eye on him. Can’t let him kill us.
- KC …what else needs to settle down. We could use some Coleman.
- play SMART Bruins.
We are still in this.
I give him a lot of credit for what he's tried to do this season
you have to wonder how the media affects his confidence. Al you hear in the press is how weak his arm is and he is only a 3rd string quarterback. After 3 months of that, maybe you start to believe it.
You can imagine what he might have been able to do with a decent
O-line and a running game to take the pressure off him.

Time of Possession is close
Actually, the O has done a good job of taking time off the clock and giving the D rest.
Special teams — the penalty put the D back on the field.
The D is playing well, but has given up 17 first downs and 270 yards.
We are in this game and can win it.
We need to turn sc away on the first series.
If we can keep it close until the 4th quarter, we’ll start to take more risks and open it up.

Craft rarely takes a sack, while Forcier gets sacked probably once every 3 dropbacks. Forcier is just too young. We have no chance with him at QB

Sanchez is a good college QB
He’ll be better next year
He may not have a pro career, hard to know… has a good arm, accurate, seems to have leadership qualities
He will have a heartbreaking loss to the crosstown rival in 2009

Awesone that the D held the Toejams to 7 points in the second half
and our only turnover occurred at the end when the game was already decided.
Good feeling for what the Bruins accomplshed today and what they will do in ’09.
Next year we should insist on Big-10 officials, though.
