Reggie Bush Saga

Well it seems the Reggie Bush sage continues and things are beginning to get spicy! First of all, I still do not see or hear enough coverage in the MSM about this, and certainly not enough outrage. The likes of Whitlock are quick to make unsubstantiated allegations about Coach's teams, but he is nowhere to be found when it comes to the cheating that goes on at U$C. I suppose there isn't enough "hard" evidence for him.

Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled slime bucket hour: when Reggie Bush says he's going to hire big guns to represent him, people assume he is talking about his lawyers. Guess again:

In another bizarre turn in the lawsuit brought against former USC star Reggie Bush, the deposition of New Era Sports co-founder Lloyd Lake came to an unexpected halt Tuesday after a man sitting in on the proceedings revealed he was carrying a handgun. Oh this is just too good. Here are more excerpts from the Yahoo article: Watkins said the man followed Lake in "an intimidating manner" almost immediately after Lake arrived for the deposition, which was set to take place at the San Diego law offices of Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw and Pittman. Watkins said that after following Lake, the man sat down in the area where the deposition was to take place. Watkins said the man didn't identify himself, and instead stared at Lake before eventually opening his jacket to reveal a handgun. At that point, Watkins said he asked that the man leave.

...

"I'm stunned by their conduct," said Lake's other attorney, Paul Wong. "We take this matter very seriously. You shouldn't be able to bring a gun to a deposition and threaten people. We don't even allow police officers to bring their guns to their own depositions.

... I will leave it to the honorable barristers in the community to discuss what is allowed during a deposition. But this is just pure comedy! I can't wait till they nail the idiot. The tide is shifting my friends. As U$C football falls into the darkness, so shall the Bruins emerge into the light!
