Couple of injury related items to take note. From Dohn LRMAM may be available on Sunday:UCLA junior forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute had his boot removed and is walking around in an air cast. UCLA is listing him as probable for Sunday's game at USC. Let's keep our fingers crossed. We can definitely use LRMAM on Sunday.
Meanwhile Roll is still rehabing. From Dohn's notes yesterday: UCLA junior wing Michael Roll, who missed the last 11 games after rupturing the plantar fascia in his left foot, said the injury did not respond well when he ran on a treadmill recently.
Asked if he thought he would play again this season, Roll said, "I don't think so. (Recovery) is moving slower than we thought."
Howland has repeatedly shied away from talking about whether Roll will redshirt, and Roll opted not to talk about it, either.
"That's something to talk to coach about," Roll said. I think at this point we have to be in the mindset that we have lost Roll for rest of the season. I don't see him coming back and I think it's a good bet he is going to redshirt this season.
