Of that picture.  I had a huge smile when I saw DC and KLove bumping chests on Thursday.

Let's do this!

Picks Arizona -- moron. At least Digger nails it on the head -- UCLA because Jordan Hill won't be able to stop Kevin Love.

It helps working at a university
People have a more progressive way of thinking.  My sorority's alumnae chapter doesn't meet as much as I would like (mainly because the president got a new job a couple of months ago).

One of my best friends from high school moved to Miami in summer 2006.  We got together before the New Year, and she told me she's met more people in the last six months than she had the whole time she had been in Miami.

Mr. BB jokes that he's all the friends I need, but he knows I need social contact with someone else outside my work and his program.

Good article about Kareem
Here is the link.  I tried to post it the other day, but the shading HTML codes weren't working and I didn't have enough time to figure out why.

Someone in the letters to the editor pointed out that Magic tends to overshadow Kareem in the hearts of Laker fans, but that Magic didn't win a championship without Kareem.

It wasn't until late in his career that I remember my old man telling me that Kareem went to UCLA.  My that time, my heart belonged to Magic.  It should have been Kareem's.

Bill Walton
It is so clear that Bill Walton is a Bruin through and through, and that the further he is from the court the more he appreciates what he was able to experience off the court and the non-basketball lessons he was able to learn from Coach Wooden.  It was always a mark of the downward slide in the program post-Wooden that his son wound up at Arizona.  I imagine things would be different if the choice were being made today.
