First up: Milton Knox, making his signing decision known during the FSN broadcast.

Next: Heartwarming background story on Derrick Coleman.

Tracy Pierson of Bruin Report Online tells how this year's signings are significantly different from years past. Props to Dorrell for laying the groundwork with the early commits, and of course for CRN and the rest of the staff sealing the deal.

To wrap it up, Coach Neuheisel's thoughts and his classy statements crediting Dorrell's early work to put together this recruiting class.

This is the most excited I've been about the football program since the 1974-1975 Dick Vermiel coached years. We all know that next season will be a challenge, but I think we can look forward to effort and enthusiasm from both the coaching staff and the players. It will be a success if what we see on the field is their best effort.

"Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming." - J Wooden

Hey, maybe someone should suggest that Coach's books become required reading for all incoming freshmen.

Or, given Nestor's post, maybe we ought to send Jason Whitlock a copy.
