...and with the 18th pick in the fifth round, the New England Patriots select Matthew Slater, wide receiver from UCLA.
Just came across this after reviewing draft coverage on WWL's recap. The Pats actually traded up for Slater, swapping picks with Tampa Bay. Good news being a current student and a Pats fan (I know I'll get some crap about it, but there's a story behind it for another day)...that brings the count to two Bruins being drafted!
