Trent Johnson to LSU
Mike Montgomery signed the deal with Berkeley too soon. Trent Johnson is leaving Stanford and taking the LSU job.
Stanford coach Trent Johnson has a verbal agreement to become the first-ever African American men's basketball coach at LSU.
Sources have told FOXSports.com a news conference is expected on Thursday.
Johnson, who led the Cardinal to the Sweet 16 this season, has agreed in principle to a deal that will take him to LSU, according to sources close to the situation.

It makes you wonder
So that makes it four Pac 10 schools that will have a different coach next season. That, combined with so many top platers leaving is going to make the Pac 10 rather weak next season.

Who is the 4th?
This is totally out of left field. I'm shocked to say the least although I can see reasons why he would leave. Furd was already in a world of hurt (No twins) but yikes.
So does Mike Montgomery....

Hmmm
Wow!
So, who is likely to go to Stanford? Randy Bennett perhaps?

Huh...
Of course, as we are waiting for real confirmation of stories from "sources" in the msm, we should wait to hear from Johnson, too.
What the hell is going on?
Just wait 'til they hire Steve Lavin.
Countdown til Monty skips across town?
